ok so back to the display issue by what you have pointed out I should have 3.3 volts on the tab of the regulator, when I check it I only have 1.7 volts so I will find the schematics and Bridges the appropriate resister.

I have the relay board on a 5v line from pc power supply. so it is not drawing power from ferduino.

Check code to make sure your are still the same ether ferduino 7,6,5,4,3. or arduino 6,5,4,3,2. depending on your build its easy to miss I have done it many times. every time it skips the home screen.
