Thank you so much Fernando.
I am here to share the amazing controller I have built with Fernando's code.
This would not be possible for me without him, his work, and his reworking of the Stilo code, and moreover, Redtop08 from reefcentral, for his work in helping to produce a working english version for higher resolution screens.
God bless you all for your work and time!
So I have to share and show it is possible for anyone.
So far I have just got the code installed, Tiny RTC with EEPROM is connected on pins 20,21 for now.
This is on a chinese Mega2560 clone, an Elecfreaks TFT/SD/Touch Shield, and a Sainsmart 5.0 TFT LCD display.
With the Tiny RTC connected. The time is no longer 15:85 PM and the date no longer xxx/85/2165

Still lots to do, but I will say to others this is an awesome controller. Seeing it online is one thing, putting it together and having it in your hands, is something else..
This is what reef keepers usually deem responsible for the thousands of pounds they spend on their aquariums. A good 3-5k can be spent on automation.
I have gotten this far for 60.00 GBP. Don't get me started on how cheap and reliable the rest of the parts are.
If I could suggest anything however, it would be get Fernando's Ferduino PCB. I do believe by the time I have sourced and put together everything, that includes things we will only use once on the project, like solder, irons, etc, the Ferduino PCB will at the very least be comparable in cost, compared to building it DIY.
I enjoyed the challenge however, but for those who are a little put off by the DIY and building of a Ferduino, you do not have to miss out on such an amazing item, if you require such amazing control over your reef tank, the PCB is certainly the way to go!

I know I know.. Enough

God bless Fernando and the Ferduino Code.
Unfortunately now I think is the time I need to pester you Fernando, and ask lots of questions you have probably answered one million times over.
Great work!
Peace.
Jamie.
PS Fernando, If you are able to leave this post open, I will continue to update as I progress, not with questions in this thread, but instead what has worked and specifics, I will correctly spell and type all devices so they act as keywords for your website.
