Hello Fernando

My project is in final stage and I really appreciate the help that the forum has given me.

But I have found a new problems. The new problem is with oscillation in the TFT

I turn on the Arduino and the program starts the looping the TFT is oscillating.
This problema happens when I use a flat cable if I plug the TFT direct on the TFT shield that does not occur.

Could you tell me what I can do to solve this problem?

Hi!

It's bad contact, check your wiring.

I seen your image in gallery and I did two advices.

Image

1 - This RTC is not compatible with Henning's library because has an EEPROM on board;

2 - The SDA and SCL should be 18 and 19 or 20 and 21 because the pins 4 and 5 are for touch screen.

Best regards.

Thank you for seeing my gallery this problem I would treat after.

Which library should I use?

The orange wire is not connected to pins 4 and 5 he is not installed, however the picture looks.

You can use the "RTClib" by example but changes on code are needed.

If you are a newbie in programing maybe is better buy a new like this or a DS1307 without EEPROM.

The DS1302 is compatible with Henning's library according to an user here.

Here a DS1302 very cheap:

Make sure that your flat cable is not missing a pin on center like this:

See my flat cable.

I created this flat cable.

The problem may be occurring because:
- The cable is long?
- The cable is passing behind the power cables?

See my controller so you can better understand.

Hi!

Yes, the cable seems very long.

Cut out this remnant to decrease the length.
