TFT shield kit was retired from Itead, follow the new instructions: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=488

Pins used by TFT touch screen:

Many pins not are used by TFT so, NOT need be welded.

See what pins need be welded.

NOTE: If you are planning to use a PCF8575 you SHOULD connect I2C Bus (SDA and SCL) to pins 18 and 19 then make a bridge like this:

If do you want use the SD slot on TFT and an ethernet module.

You need CUT or NOT weld the side of the resistor that goes to pin 53.

Then make a bridge to pin 4.

WARNING: In the image below is missing pins 50, 51 and 52 on TFT shield, this image is to show the bridge between R16 and pin 4 only.

If you think that your TFT have too bright, you can add a potentiometer to reduce it.
