Hello to all,
My name is jean-yves and I live in Belgium.
First,I would like to congratulate Fernando for the superb project he has developed and also thanks him for giving us access to it.
Now my problem:
I have compiled Ferduino web to my arduino board following the required informations by "how to install Ferduino with web control".
The last step of the procedure request to put your Ferduino password and when this is done and I open Joyreef, I get the message "Ferduino password error, check your settings".
Looking further to my problem,I noticed some differences between the password requirements for registration to Ferduino forum and password requirements in the last step of the procedure.
There is also a difference between password registration to Joyreef and Ferduino code.
I don't know if my problems comes from there and I am completely lost.
If someone could help me I would be very happy.
Thanks in advance

Jean-yves

Hi!

Welcome Jean!

Thank you by praise!

Are 3 things differents.

1 - The password of this forum never will be used in other place.

2 - The password to open your account on joyreef are 8 or more digits with numbers and letters.

This password is only to open the joyreef.

3 - The password to control the ferduino are 6 numbers and only numbers.

This password should be configured on this menu:

This password should be placed on code on this stretch:

char *credencial = "teste:123456";

Best regards.

Fernando,

Thank you for your answer,if I understand well, the password that has to be introduced in the last step is a completely different one and has nothing related with the password for Ferduino forum.
You said that this password has to be included in the sketch ( char*credential) but when I read the sketch, the comments says that it is the joy-reef user name and password that have to be introduced.
May be my problem is there
Sorry to disturb you with stupid questions but I really would like to use this superb application

Is better to ask than be in doubt.

Yes, maybe you need put your username.

On my case is :

char *credencial = "fernandogarcia:125656";

Fernando,

I have uploaded the sketch with your recommendation and it works.
I surely made a bad translation.
Once again thank you very much.
PS:I have already replied before but my first answer doesn't appear.
