Hi guys,

I saw the circuit scheme for connecting fans here:
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=40

and I saw the pins scheme of Ferduino here:
http://ferduino.com/wp-content/uploads/ ... PinMap.pdf

I would like to connect, for cooling the heatsink, 2 fans like this:
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B002KT ... JU7H&psc=1

using a cable like this:
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B001J2 ... JU7H&psc=1

and obviously the rj11 connection on my Ferduino Mega...but I'm not able to understand how.

I understood how to connect GND and Pin 13...but what about 12v from power supply? straight to the fan? and the GND from power supply?
Sorry for my ignorance. I'm learning a lot with this project.

Thank you so much.

Hi!

It's exactly as you can see here:

I don't think this cable useful for this circuit.

Best regards.

Hi Fernando!

I'm sorry, maybe I was not able to explain myself in the right way.
On Ferduino mega you put this connector with this scheme:

On the basis of the previous post I think that you connected the RJ11 like here:

Is it correct?

But the power supply should be different and separated from the Ferduino one, right?
so how you thought to connect the power supply to pin 9 of the ULN2003A? I don't think you will suggest to solder a cable under the board...

Furthermore on Ferduino Mega we have 3 ULN2003, as I can see from this picture:
http://ferduino.com/wp-content/uploads/ ... a-2560.pdf
Which one you are referring to?

Thank you a lot Fernando.

Hi!

Your are doing a mess.

It's a separated circuit, this ULN is not available in Ferduino Mega.

You will connect this circuit to your board just using a male connector.

Now is far more clear Fernando. Thank you!
Just a final clarification: can I use only pin 13 and avoid to connect the pin 1?
