Connect GND from Arduino to GND from 12 V power supply.

Sorry for the late reply.
No, I did not solve the problem. Now I'm waiting for a new LCD and New Leds. As soon as I receive the parts I will star all over from the begining.

Hi Fernando,

The TFT just arrive today, but not the Leds.
Can you please confirm if this TFT is good for the project. How do I test it, to find the resolution? Is was sold to me has a 400x240.
But I'm not sure if it is correct.

This model is not recommended in my part list. This model has 34 pins and the model used here has 40 pins.

Unless do you have a TFT shield compatible with Arduino mega and this model is supported by Henning's libraries you can use it otherwise you should buy the right one.

BTW the link available in my part list is valid yet.
